include standard stainless nuts, washers and lock washers. U Bolts, are indeed galvanized and saddles are aluminum or galvanized. We recommend this approach for all applications unless there is exposure to salt air. Galvanized U Bolts are standard because of strength issues and because the plating we now specify is non corrosive in all but the abovementioned environment. Unfortunately stainless hardware is problematical because of its propensity to gall and because of the shear/twisting failure mode. However, if you really think you need stainless hardware, we continue to offer stainless kits. These kits do include stainless U Bolts when available. The smaller U Bolts, used to affix elements to the boom, are always in stock. The larger U Bolts, used in boom to mast applications are sometimes not available due to our vendors supplying parts that do not meet our spec. We have a tight specification for the larger U Bolts and have not yet located a reliable supplier. To order any of our products with stainless kits, just tell us! There is a nominal charge depending on the design. Typically a C3 stainless kit is $25.00.
