I'm glad to hear such comments on C3SS because I plan to put one up in the coming months. Could you tell us the the height of the antenna and how much run of coax you are using ? As I understand the specs on the F12 web site, these two parameters could be of an important matter in order to use the 12 & 17 m bands. 73, Philippe F8BXI Can't wait to be a happy F12 customer too :-) -----Message d'origine----- De : Gary Bernard <W0CKI@netzero.com> À : Force 12 <force12talk@qth.com> Date : jeudi 9 mars 2000 04:55 Objet : [Force 12 Talk] C3SS I put it up a month ago, really gave it a workout during the ARRL DX contest, and WOW!!! I could have put up anything I wanted to, no restrictions and I have an acre of land. I just thought I would give the neighbors a break. This is a great antenna, no "mini beam" compromise here. Ham since 1954, old F I admit, I have had all shapes and kinds of antennas and this is a terrific piece of equipment that I plan to use for some time. Toms' accessible for tech support if needed. Everything was to spec. Regards, Gary Bernard, W0CKI -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
