10m Mono band elements probably because the 6m element mounts plus boom made it very near 1/4 wave on 10m. This was when the 6m was at right angles to the 10m. I suggest you try moving the 6m through various angles to the C3 boom and look for changes in Swr on 10m. If you get no changes you "might" be OK. 73 Clive GM3POI -----Original Message----- From: W5UWB2@aol.com <W5UWB2@aol.com> To: force12talk@qth.com <force12talk@qth.com> Date: 21 March 2000 21:09 Subject: [Force 12 Talk] C3E >Anyone want to hazard a guess as to how a 6 element, 6 meter beam (25' boom) >mounted 7 feet above the C3E will effect the C#3's vswr? > >73 -John > > >-------------------------------------------- >Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc. >Force 12 Web site: http://www.qth.com/force12 > >Submissions: send to Force12Talk@qth.com >To unsubscribe: send a blank e-mail to Force12Talk-leave@qth.com >Force12Talk Message Archive: http://www.qth.com/force12/list/force12talk >For problems with the list, contact force12@qth.com > > > -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
