10-12' separation between them, do I need to or should I put the 40m beam at right angles to the C31XR? I ask this based on your comments on the 40m below. For 40 meters, you could put up a rotatable dipole between the C31XR and the WARC 2/2/1 but it should be parallel to the booms of the other antennas. Another 40 meter solution is to use the EF140N which can live comfortably between the two antennas as long as you keep it 7' away from the C31XR. As far as the C31XR, just read the manual thoroughly. Be sure the two wires of the closed sleeve (running between the 10 meter and 20 meter drivers) are very close together. I suggest you tape these wires together with vinyl tape. 73 Natan W6XR Force 12 East Ithaca, NY FN12sk force12@qth.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wally Klinger" <wklinn@hotmail.com> To: <towertalk@contesting.com> Sent: Thursday, June 01, 2000 12:05 PM Subject: [TowerTalk] FORCE12 C31 / WARC antenna stacking > > Hello to the list, > > I posted this question on the force12 list, got a few responses, and thought > I'd see if there was others out there who might have some additional info on > this: > > I am in the process of replacing a tower and HF antennas.
