15m driven element to get it to resonate in the middle of the band. We could not get the resonance in the middle of the band no matter what we did with the wires. I am ordering a C31XR today. Will be curious if the dimensions have changed on the C31 or if I will have to do the same as K3OO. Has anyone else had this problem ? If so, how did you fix it? If not were you able to get the resonance in the middle of the band by taping the wires close together? I am using the C31 with separate feeds for each band. It has been on and of the tower a few times. I have great difficulty getting the match consistanly correct. Each time I put it back on the tower the hairpin and element length have to get adjusted all over again. It also does not have sufficient bandwidth to cover SSB and CW without the Alpha crying enuf!. Anyone else out there who has got this sorted. I would be interested in the driven element they ended up with and the hairpin details.
