Nice to meet you at the Hope Hotel in Dayton this year with W4XJ, etc. Yes, I have the exact situation with the C31 mounted at 100'. It plays well with 1.6 or so at 14.0, but is resonance 1:1 at 14.262. As with yours, 10 and 15 are outstanding with the wires as close as possible using tie wraps. It had no "extra holes" for longer 20 meter DE. Of course we know the answer, hi. I'll drop the DE this summer, drill the rivets and add a bit of length. May need to buy other longer end pieces, don't know. The coil makes little difference of moving the frequency. Otherwise the C31 does a good job and it's a keeper. 73/DX, lynn W4NL At 10:05 AM 8/1/00 -0000, c penna wrote: >Hi , >Has any one got the answer to the 20m tuning of a C31XR.
