The f12 page describing the towers seems to have some visual guidance: http://force12inc.com/lpt1a.htm The guys look like heavy rope at a bit more than 45 degrees, so figure 20 feet each for four guys. The "X-base" bolts onto the standard concrete base and is an extra cost. I plan to make four rebar stakes with a hook on the end to hold it down. I have an 827 on order and will post more when I have tried it, but that is my plan at the outset. (Frankly - I am currently more concerned about how I will transport it securely for rough trails on the roof rack of my 4runner ;-) 73! - js -- jeff stai WK6I DM13 NAR #21059 TRA #3356 L2 jstai@home.com / wk6i@arrl.net ROC web page: http://www.rocstock.org/ -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
