And, it can be done with the antenna still on the tower!! Very cool,
indeed....however, 10 meters has been so stinkin' lousy this past year not
sure if the upgrade was worth it..........73...k6sdw

George,

The "E" element is a 10 meter reflector that can be field added to a C3, C4,
or C4XL. This extra element adds .7 dB gain and increases f/b by a minimum
of 3 dB on 10 meters. The C3E/C sells for $45.00 plus UPS charges. The kit
includes TEK screws that pierce the aluminum tubing of the boom allowing
"drill-less" installation.

I converted all three of my C3 to a C3E with this kit and consider the
improvement very worthwhile.
