I did the upgrade to my C3 last year and if the stinkin' 10 meter band were
open more often I would say it was worth it!! But, with such lousy
conditions this past year....well........73 and good luck../k6sdw

It's amazing your C3E is not appearing more efficient, despite all this
talk of poor conditions..... I agree the band has not been real active
this summer, but I have had no problems with my C-31XR, getting into the
South Pacific EVERY evening with super reports!! For a band as fickle as
10 meters, I have had 2 to 3 hour Q's into VK, ZL, & ZK land all summer.
This is truely amazing for a band that can dropout in a heartbeat, but
proves the Force 12 line MAKES conditions all they can be!! Listen for me
working the 10 mtr band around 0000Z to 0300Z every night.

P.S. Also have been working backscatter via an ionized cloud in the
South Pacific on a regular basis to places like Phoenix from here in N.M.

73 & gud dx de NA5S
