since yagi antenna exist, since that time the problem exist. Its not a problem of Force 12 antennas. If you use antennas with traps ( shorter elements )you will have less movement. If you use full size elements more. Its easy. If you using a GP or long wire the swr changes are very low. And now the questions: what do you what ? constant swr all the time or good gain and good f/b ratio ? 73 de Chris DL5NAM -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: JORGE DIEZ - CX6VM [mailto:cx6vm@adinet.com.uy] Gesendet: Dienstag, 29. I HEARD SOME COMMENTARIES ABOUT SWR IN FORCE 12 ANTENNAS APPARENTLY, WHEN THERE IS MUCH WIND, THE SWR INCREASE BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY ELEMENTS SO CLOSELY. WHEN THEY BEEN SO CLOSELY BECAUSE OF THE WIND, SWR INCREASE AND DECREASE IN PROPORTION OF THE RATE OF THE WIND MY ZONE IS VERY WINDY REASON WHY THIS WORRIES TO ME ENOUGH. WILL BE A PROBLEM TO HAVE A WINDY CONTEST WEEKEND. I WANTED TO KNOW OF PEOPLE WHO USE FORCE 12 ANTENNAS, IN SPECIAL THE C-31XR IF THIS IS CERTAIN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
