I have a tower with a C31XR, C3, and C4 spaced between 53-110'. Last year we
had a really severe ice storm here in Duluth, MN. When I looked in the
morning I was horrified with all 7 of the 20 meter elements pointing very
close to straight down. The sun came out and in about 3 hours everything
came back with no damage. There was a pile of ice under the tower about 6"
deep. Most of the ice shells were about 2" in diameter. It was Easter
Sunday and all the good stuff happened while I was at church!
