say older as they have the XM240 now. I had one of these up with a KT34XA for many years. I originally put it at right angles as people told me it wouldn't work with them in-line (so to speak). I later turned it to be in-line with about 8-9' seperation and didn't have any problems. With them at right angles, the beam was never pointed where it did any good when the tribander was pointed where it was needed. My only reason for changing antennas was that I wanted seperate feedlines for each band and a tornado visted my QTH and forced me to accelerate my antenna plans. 73 Tim K9TM ----- Original Message ----- From: "Guy Olinger, K2AV" <k2av@contesting.com> To: <AD6E@aol.com>; <huntleyr@huntleypascoe.com>; <force12talk@qth.com> Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2000 12:03 AM Subject: Re: [Force 12 Talk] C31XR and 402CD Spacing > Which two element forty? > > --... ...-- . ... --. .-.. > > Regards, Guy > Apex, NC > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <AD6E@aol.com> > To: <huntleyr@huntleypascoe.com>; <force12talk@qth.com> > Sent: Wednesday, October 11, 2000 11:15 PM > Subject: Re: [Force 12 Talk] C31XR and 402CD Spacing > > > > Roger, > > > > I have a C31XR and a 2 el 40 about 8 ft above it.
