I have a quick question. I am pretty sure I know the answer to this question, however I want to run it by the "experts" before I take action. I have a C-4SXL mounted at the 50' point, and 7' above that is my N1217, 90 degrees off azimuth, clockwise. The 1217 is resonating 500 KHz below band on both bands. Is this an interaction issue? I shortened the driver by 1.5 inches, but it only pulled it in by 75 KHz or so. Another question, the 20 meter component of the C-4SXL is resonant exactly at 14.000 MHz. Not that this is a big problem, but I would like to raise the center up a little. Which element would be the best to adjust this? I'm thinking the driver, then adjusting the 15 and 10 meter adjustable elements to compensate. This one's minor. Note: the 40 meter section is performing beautifully. A little narrow, but I'm too lazy to extend the reflector, so it's my own fault. Thanks for anyone's input. Natan, I GOT THE C-49XL! I hope to have it up in a month or two! -Ed -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
