Hi All:

I'm using an F 12 C4E and on a whim one day decided to see if my Yaesu 1000D
would tune 30 m on the 20 m antenna. It took the Yaesu about 2 nanoseconds
to tune this match, so I spoke with Tom at F 12 and he felt that the ant was
efficient enough to do this. Tom did mention that I might wish to add a 40 m
relay box in series with the 20 m balun and feedline if I were going to use
the C4 on 30 m.

My questions for the listserve are: Has anyone tried a C4 class antenna on 30
m? Did you use the 40 m relay box? If so, how'd it go? What was the impact
of the relay on 20 m?
