ice from the first ice storm on December 13 here in Pine Bluff, AR. They both returned to normal shape and performance after the ice melted. Even though they were severely bowed down the 40 meter antenna with the linear loading did not even change it's bandwidth position. I hope this is the case this time from the second ice storm of Christmas night. Both antennas still are covered in ice (up to 1 inch thick) here, which is one week today. The 420/240 is listing to one side as more of the ice is gone from one side than the other, I hope it straightens up. The 4BA is still about 85% covered in ice, but other than drooping quite a bit it still appears OK. The Force 12 antennas are great both in construction and performance you will not regret purchasing them. I have had these up since '95 with no problems. Hope this helps. 73's, Earl N5ZM PS.
