I do not have a Force 12 antenna; ordered one yesterday. But I have had a fair amount of experience with "pop" rivets. That's what held my Sports Car Club of America race car together. I have used aluminum, steel, and SS pop rivets on my race car depending on where they were used. Mostly the rivets never came lose, but a lot depends on how carefully they are installed. Also, what material is used. I too have drilled out lots of these rivets with a 1/8 inch drill in order to repair the car after race course contact. Yes, I know racing, like basketball, is supposed to be a non-contact sport. So, if the rivets are carefully installed, I would expect they would hold well. But sometimes when I was in a hurry I didn't get them in right and they would come lose. I would appreciate hearing from someone about what material Force 12 uses for the antenna rivets; also, about any problems installing the rivets.
