Subject: C4XL vs C4SXL

I've got the C4SXL only ... and like the 23-foot boom length. I like DX
contests, and working DX but I am not a big gun DX-er and not a top finisher
in contests -- so not having the extra element on 10-15-20 is no big deal.
However, on 10-15-and-20 it performs better than the three element trap
tribander it replaces.

If you want to work both ends of 40M with a good SWR, I suggest you add the
optional relay box -- I have less than 2.0 SWR from 7.0-7.1 and 7.15-7.3mHz.
The switch sits on my desk and the relay activates with 12V. It is so
handy, I'm going to add a switchbox and coil for my 80M vertical so I can
work phone and CW with the flick, instead of having to physcially adjust the
coil length when preparing for the next contest.
