Subject: Rope or not.... K7LXC's query

I have a Tango 34 which I would think is the latest technology designed
antenna. Constructed properly, it sings in a light breeze. At least the
10m elements do. The six meter elements don't seem to do that. I also
noticed little ice droplets at the element joints. I did use the supplied
anti-oxidant sparingly as directed. Just a thin coat. Not knowing how the
water was getting in I decided to wrap each join and the rivets with Scotch
33. I have not seen any water droplets frozen on the element tips which are
still open and the tape wrap has cured the singing.

Now if I could just get the thing up in the air instead of just above head
high on the side of my main tower, I might quit noticing things I want to do
to it.:)
