about evenly between haul it up 30 feet or get it vertical OR if the measurements are correct and the elements are in the right place, just put it up. Unfortuantely the tower is pretty much in the trees and it was really impossible to get it up 20 to 30 feet. It's a rather stout tower, 36" between the legs. So, the crane put it up today. I might mention it is now 10 feet above a KLM 2ele 4o mtr beam.. SWR on 10 and 20 are about what they were on the saw horses! 1.5:1 to 2:1 Fifteen was the band that was very high on the saw horses and now it is 1.5:1 at 21.000 to 3:1 at around 21.300. (Does not go above 3:1 anywhere else in the band). So 15 stayed high, but not as bad, and the other 2 bands actually are pretty close to what they were. I figure that 15 is reacting maybe with the 40 meter antenna that is 10 feet below..The 40 meter beam's resonant freq. moved up about 100 hz to 7.2..all in all livable.. This system is located at a ham rental QTH here in CO. and soon there will be a web page to view the antennas, station and QTH.
