Just found out that previous owner did NOT include the loading "wires", he did send the tuning "jumper" set. No real stress here, right? The wire just adds to the electrical length, right? Instructions say this is 1/8" Alumaweld wire - fat chance of finding that in this resort town (Coeur d'Alene, ID). Says to use cable clamps to attach to spreader with loop back on itself and the bolt in the stud on the element. Does anyone know - can I substitute some 1/8" SS wireline (aircraft type)? I don't want to change the dia any, since this is a loading wire system. OR, should I just use some copper ground wire (real soft compared to the Alumaweld), like a #10 or so? Please reply direct to my email since I am on the "digest" method of getting this list.
