tuner, but if you want outstanding SWR on 17 and 12 meters as well as 10 - 20 meters then you should get the XR-5. Boom length and antenna design is just like the C3 but with the added full size elements for the WARC bands. I have the C3SS and it works outstanding for me on all bands. When I feel I need more than what the C3SS can do, I will go to one of the C-xx XR series antennas. Carleton - AA6GZ *********************************************** I have a few questions on the Force 12 antennas: What is the advantage of the C-3SS over the C-3S? Is it just turning radius? Do both have some gain on 17 and 12 meters? Will the C-3 do a better job than the C-3S or C-3SS? I can't make my mind up on the C-3, C-3S or C-3SS Please share any experiences with these antennas.
