using individual feeds. I am this week stacking three C31's, Mag340N and 180B. I am set up for SO2R and after much investigation I can find NO ONE who is using the individual feeds and running legal power SO2R or otherwise. Maybe someone is but they sure never responded to any of my requests for info. Also I can only say that some say it should work but no one will guarantee it. I personally took the route of stacking three, using a dual feedline(WX0B) on one antenna and other than the WX0B stackmatch, I use exclusively the Top Ten switching system. The matrix is wired using the abss relays, sixway boxes, Ice 419A's all preceeded by six ICE 348's and four 303's all on a dual plate/copper buss setup. I just did not believe that it would work at legal without some type of interaction, and sure did not want to do all the work and expense only to find out that it doesn't. Not a good gamble for me. I guess it could work on low power but I would not want to bet on more than that. If you think it will work and want to try it, it certainly wouldn't hurt anything and would be great to have. Good luck and let us know what you find out. All, I am considering re-wiring my pair of C31XRs to the individual band feedline arrangement to facilitate SO2R contest operation. The present plan would be to use the W3NQN filters with a WX0B switching setup. My concern is that the close proximity of the driven elements might be more than the filters could deal with effectively. Has anyone out there tried this or a similar arrangement? I would appreciate hearing about anyone's experiences, good or bad, with C31XRs in this sort of setup. Thanks. 73 Jack Brabham - KZ5A 2013 Alyssa Court Azle, TX 76020 -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
