I'm limited to a 40' tower and an eight foot mast here in the Dallas, TX area which can be placed in the backyard such that a 20'+ turning radius can be supported. Not having much interest in 10m or 12m, the Strike Force DX'er antenna looks like the ticket at this height but it sure seems mighty pricey. It's two thirds of a 5BA though so that must make it worth it somehow. I haven't ordered the manual to see how it's built and would like to hear from anyone using it or the 5BA/4BA before throwing $25 at it. Any comments on its build quality, matching system, performance compared to a C- 3(S), etc., would be greatly appreciated. Additionally I'd like to put an EF-130 30m dipole at the top of the mast, near 48', parallel to its boom. I'm assuming there won't be any significant interaction given the 90deg rotation but it is a lower freq antenna above the one at higher freqs. Any comments here would also be greatly appreciated. As an aside, there will likely be a long 2m yagi set midway up the mast between these two antennas but I wouldn't expect any interaction. Famous last words...
