Sounds like they're both anti-oxidant and can be used interchangeably. I haven't seen the copper colored one you mention in any F12 antenna I've put together. If you're not sure, don't use it. > > 3. Don't worry about it. There is no convenient way to mount the balun - you have to hang the balun under the boom and it typically crosses an element or something else. Black tie wraps and tape will be sufficient. You can't put too much pressure on the balun like you would with U-bolts because the outer holder is pvc pipe and it's not very strong mechanically.
