I don't understand the complexity of understanding this issue. Insert the
rivets, tape over them with electricians tape, one or two turns. Don't
install the rivets permanently. The tape will hold the rivets in place
for months, even years without letting the rivets fall out. The rivets
are just pulled out of the holes when you tear the antenna down and
remove the tape. No fuss, no muss, no work, no wear, no tear, you can do
it over and over.
