Force 12 is releasing, effective immediately, a new 40 through 10 meter vertical dipole antenna. In an effort to encourage "hands on" participation in antenna experimentation, this design is manually tuned to the selected amateur band of choice. This vertical Sigma series dipole achieves resonance by the adjustment of the end bars or the addition of the supplied coils for 40 and 30 meters. The antenna will be shipped complete with the B-1/S balun. All one will need is a coax feed line with a PL-259. The VSWR on 17 - 10 is 1.5:1 or less across the bands, 20 is <1.4:1 (1.2:1 lowest) and 40/30 are matched to <1.2:1. The coils are simple to adjust on 40 and 30. A tilt base will be offered in the future as an option. Please remember that this is a manual band-change, but it doesn't take long. It also "feels nice" to get your hands on an antenna and do something with it! The introductory price of the Sigma 40XK is $249.00 FOB Force 12, Inc. Antenna weight is about 13 pounds Ships in a 4' box and shipping weight is about 25 pounds Please call our factory at 800 248 1985 to place an order for this newest member of the Force 12 Sigma family. If you would like a soft copy of the manual, please just ask.
