Methinks you have done nothing for which you need to
apologize, Pete. I found the discussion quite interesting.
I lost my home, shack, tower, antennas, etc. in a tornado
in 1999. I now live in a very nice house (nicer than the
old one) but have a postage-stamp lot instead of almost
1/2 acre. I have been trying to decide what I can erect
to back on HF. I found your comments and the others in
the exchange very informative.
