FYI, a search of my received E-mails for the last 2 months show nothing from you at all. I've no idea why I have not received your communication, but I have not. Often E-mails are mis addressed or "lost" in a local ISP due to worms or viruses. It certainly is not in our interest to ignore your E-mails for any reason. The LPT series of towers employ a worm gear drive designed to be actuated by an electric drill driven the stud, or by the included crank handle. Either method works well, although when a drill is used, you must be aware of the mechanical stops on the sections because consistent and repeated movement at speed into the stops will eventually cause failures. I have had a F12 Low Profile crank up tower for about 8 months. The web site says it can be cranked up/down using an electric drill. I wonder if anyone has done this and how you accomplished it. Several requests to F12 direct for this info have gone unanswered. 73 -- ________________________________________________________________________ __ Alan Zack Amateur Radio Station K6ACZ Anaheim, Southern California, USA Home of the World Series Winners ANGELS Quality Engineer, The Boeing Company, Retired Aviation Chief Warrant Officer, U.S. Coast Guard, Retired U.S. Coast Guard, Always Ready, Always There Every hour, Every day, Around the Clock and Around the World SEMPER PARATUS -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
