Subject: Spring is here ?? Tnx

My Thanks to all who replied (Both list and direct) <g>

The initial problem was the SWR had shifted waaay high on 20
M. I undid the cover this morning - intending to "squeeze" the
20M coils together. Unfortunately, the coils were already as
close as they could be !! What to do??
I then noticed that, looking axially along the coil board,
that most of the coils were almost in alignment. SO, thinking
that I might be getting some mutual inductance coupling, I
moved the 20M coils (just a tad) so that they were less in
alignment with the other coils.
An SWR sweep showed that I had lowered the resonant point down
about 50 Khz. Not much but the real benefit was that I now was
less than 2:1 across the whole band.
I did check all the bands available on the Sigma 5. 12M had
gone up (but flat) at 1.5 to1 and15M was now flat at 1:1 !!
And 10M was flat at 1.6:1
I can live with that <G>

If anyone at Force12.inc is reading this --- any
alternative(s) to suggest??

Next step:- to replace all RG-8/RG-8X with "Buryflex" -
running qrp means you need to get every milliwatt to the
antenna <g>

Thanks for everyones' input...
