After years of persecution by the county zoning dictators there is a glimmer of hope that antennas that function can be erected on my 6 acre lot (can you believe that?). Pardon me if I sound a bit giddy. Although the final regulation is yet to be approved, this is what I believe I can achieve without resorting to litigation: An 89-foot crank-up with 11 feet of mast above the top of the tower totalling 100 feet. I have a C31-XR at 60 feet now, and I am familiar with it's personality. What I am considering is moving this antenna to the new tower stacked with another C31-XR at 89/54 feet respectively. Above the stack at 100 feet would be a 340N. I can beef the mechanics up enough to have confidence in the installation, but has anyone had experience with a similar stack and how well it works? Any tips on making the 340N a happy camper in this configuration? How well does your 340N work? As usual many thanks for your tips es 73, Hank AA4HP -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
