Since when was stating facts construed as bashing? The pictures at
http://www.gi0nwg.freeserve.co.uk/F12/index.htm back up everything I've
ever said.

>It is not necessary and needs to end. We as a group should
>not be forced to listen to this

Who elected you the leader?

>because some of us like the F12 company and

Have you looked at the pictures. They speak for themselves. Consider
yourself informed that not every F12 antenna is a good antenna. Some
are probably OK but I have no knowledge of them so I don't comment. The
only antennas I've commented on are the Mag340 and 5BA of which I have
first hand experience. OTOH, there are lots of people on this reflector
who have made comments about antennas which they know nothing about.

>This is the F12 reflector and THE place for discussion of the
>products...both good and bad if needed....

I'm glad to see that you think both sides of the argument should be
aired here. It just so happens I'm airing the bad side. If I'd had a
good experience with F12, I too would have been happy to sing their
praises.

>no one here has the power or
>control to satisfy Andrew so he should keep his complaint/discussions
>private with F12.

That was tried. It didn't get very far.

>If that doesn't work, get a lawyer.

A bit unrealistic as we'd be out more than the cost of the antenna in
legal fees.

>I get this in digest form so I have to scroll through the rantings to get to
>something I find interesting, helpful and informative.

I have had numerous private e-mails from people who have said my
comments are very "interesting, helpful and informative". Not everyone
looks at things through rose-tinted glasses.

>His constant bashing is but for one purpose and that is to insult F12 and
>damage their reputation...that agenda does not belong here in my opinion.

I'm not trying to insult F12. I want them to take action to remedy
something that resulted from their design fault. The first rule of
business is to keep customers happy. If they don't do that and the
resultant comments happens to damage their reputation, then so be it.
I'd do it to any company, not just F12.

I can name a number of ham radio related companies who give excellent
service and am happy to do so. Companies like Yaesu, Array Solutions,
ProSisTel (a.k.a. Big Boy Rotors) and Linear Amp UK (Peter bends over
backwards to help). So I'm not all negative. I give credit where
credit is due.

>So, if the administrator wants to provide a valuable service to this
>reflector, do what Barney says, nip it in the bud.

If that happens, then so much for the freedom of speech which your
country holds so dear. If I go, then a few others should go too.
