that...that is what I use with no problems between the Mag340N and C31XR. What would concern me would be the "variant" part; maybe not modeled thus how that would work would be probably unknowable until on air tests. The best info here is that the recommended 8' spacing works with known models. For me the longer mast would be my first choice if that is a possibility. 73, Tommy WD4K -----Original Message----- From: Michael Dinkelman [mailto:mwdink@eskimo.com] Sent: Monday, May 19, 2003 2:45 PM To: force12talk@qth.com Subject: [Force 12 Talk] Interaction? EF240 and C31XR I am considering putting an EF240 variant above my C31XR. Both will be > 100' but I will only have about 4-5 feet on my mast for separation. Just looking for opinions whether this would mess up my C31XR, the EF240, or both. Would a 90 degree offset be helpful? Or, do I need to start thinking about a longer mast? 73 dink, n7wa -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
