I assure you it is no delight to bring up this incident. The lessons I've learn about customer service (in amateur radio) began 30 years ago when I worked at Barry Electronics in NY as a teenager. The customer may not always be right, but the customer is still the customer. I guess in my old age I'm getting spoiled by Lexus and Mercedes true customer service. Too bad my F-12 was like getting a Ferrari with a Yugo's warranty and support. ----- Original Message ----- From: <wa4dou@juno.com> To: <Force12Talk@qth.com> Sent: Friday, June 27, 2003 3:09 PM Subject: RE: [Force 12 Talk] F12 Whiners > > One would expect that lifes experience and a bit of age would mellow individuals who delight in telling the rest of us how sorry the customer service was that they received. If you live long enough you'll not only come to understand why customer service is so often not up to your expectations but why you have to lower your expectations to allow for customer service being good whenever it exceeds the truly absymal customer service that is the martketplace in all things. In the world market place, customer service largely stinks. It is a buzzword that is little understood by those in business and by their customers. > > ________________________________________________________________ > The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! > Surf the web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER! > Only $14.95/ month - visit www.juno.com to sign up today! > > > -------------------------------------------- > Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc. > Force12 Web Site: http://www.force12inc.com > > To Submit Message to the List: Force12Talk@qth.com > To unsubscribe and view the Message Archive: see http://qth.com/force12/list > For problems with the list: contact n4zr@qth.com > -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
