the points I make, I think they are valid. I have a dry sense of humor and try to mix points with a little humor..not to be taken too seriously...after all..this is just a hobby...except it is life itself for some. Not sure why a local such a Billy choses to attack me personally but I really do not put too much stock in it. A lot of issues concerning Billy around here so I will leave it at that. I simply will not stoop to that level of untrue and unnecessary personal attack. I never mentioned his name, attacked him or subjected him to public disrespect. I stand by every point I make and am willing to discuss with anyone, except those that call names, which is why I choose not to respond to some ridiculous emails. I just won't lower myself to that level or the low class of those that use such tactics. I personally choose not to respond to those who use insults, name calling, and especially personal attacks that challenge my or anyone elses morals or good intentions. If you cannot discuss, argue and disagree without calling names, then don't intrude on my privacy with such nonsense. I believe that everyone should have a little sense of humor about some of this...some just don't get it without being offended to their core...and some just want to be offended so they have something to say...pretty sad. 73, Tommy WD4K -----Original Message----- From: Billy Cox [mailto:aa4nu@ix.netcom.com] Sent: Friday, June 27, 2003 6:12 PM To: Force12Talk@qth.com Subject: Re: [Force 12 Talk] F12 Whiners >Wow, how about a course in anger management here. Actually Tommy, after reading your three rants <so far this week, 1 on F12 and 2 on TenTec?>, I think that's a very wonderful idea for YOU to consider. I really really do, as others might too, especially locals here. Lighten up OM! Folks ... don't waste your time trying to be reasonable with him. He only sees things HIS way. And then he'll get VERY brutal in personal email, while ignoring any replies ... it has to be his way, or no way. We call it "Tommy being Tommy". Many locally here just ignore him. We enjoy this HOBBY and just write off his ramblings such as this as small local QRM. He has just as much right as anyone else to post whatever his OPINION is, but he fails to give others the same liberty. >which leads me to believe that customer is less than, well, >mechanically capable to be politically correct...maybe the >pictures aren't big enough:) Tommy The above is a perfect example of what I am speaking of ... More typical WD4K ... locally "thou shalt never challenge Tommy" as if you do, then you'll get the "you are not in his class" types of responses next, and so on ... life is too short for such nonsense. Check the TenTec reflector for more of the same from him, or CQ-Contest. Yawn ...
