Subject: C-4XL Tuning Question

Hi. I am new to this list. I reside in Tomball, TX, a small town 25 miles
to the northwest of Houston.

I have a C-4XL at 150 feet. I tuned the 40 meter section to 7,140 KHz to
have operation both on CW and SSB. Now I have purchased a relay box to
switch between the bands. The driven element is close to the mast so I can
adjust it up to the recommended 7,220 KHz. However, the antenna must be
taken down to adjust the reflector. If I only adjust the driven element
will I still get decent performance using the relay box? I am thinking the
reflector should remain at 7,140 to accommodate both ends of the band.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.
