to provide clearance from the tower. This antenna will be mounted on a ring rotor below the top of the tower. Thus, the boom mount needs to be offset about a foot toward the 40 meter reflector element. What is the best way to re-balance the boom? I am thinking a lead fishing weight, or several weights, could be attached near the end of the boom. Another possibility is the adhesive-backed lead weights used to balance automotive alloy wheels.
