A combined 2 and 3 ele for 30 M. What for ? - you must mean 240 / 230. That would not be ideal from a boom element positionning point of view. Unless you widespace the 40 meter elements there would not be space enough on the boom. I have had the antenna up at 115 ft for about 1 1/2 yrs now and are very satisfied with it. It does pick up a lot of noise and static that under certain conditions makes receiving hard but thats to be expected. I sometimes make qso´s when conditions are like that by receiving on other better S/N ratio antennas, like beverages, small phased systems, loop etc. Regards, Henrik -----Original Message----- From: Wes Cosand [mailto:wz7i@arrl.net] Sent: Friday, August 29, 2003 7:15 PM To: Force12Talk@qth.com Subject: [Force 12 Talk] EF-240/230 I would be interested in folk's experience with this 2 element 40M /2 element 30M antenna. I wish there were a 230/330 version available. Wes, WZ7I -------------------------------------------- Force12Talk mailing list provided as a service by Force 12 Antennas, Inc.
