I just got and assembled a new EF140s.   I like the new split spreader system so u dont have to unhook the linear loading wires.  Adjustment of SWR and center frequency was 'good enough' right out of the - but of course I climbed the tower half a dozen times to get it right on.  I suggest that if u are in the ballpark, mush or expand the coil for best SWR  (should be about 1.05:1) then adjust the linear loading wires for proper center freq....
