Subject: C3SS on 50MHz

I recently put up a C3SS. In the process, I discovered that the SWR is less
then 2:1 over the 6 Meter band. I measured the C3SS as I was building it and
built an EZNEC model of the antenna. The model creates performance
projections that are very close to the specs. Running the model at 50.2MHz,
it depicts the antenna has having to major lobes - one off the front of the
beam and the other (Lesser lobe) off the rear of the beam. The model
predicts 10.5 DBI gain from the front lobe with a 10 degree take off angle.
I have just recently begun to use the C3SS on 6 meters. I would be
interested in results from others that may use the antenna on 6 meters.

Thanks
Merle Bone
