Room Rules- The focus is on songs from the USA Top 100 Charts from 1970 through 1979. Your song may be skipped if it is not from the 70s and/or not a hit song/artist. Exceptions are made, of course. Room Managers will make the call. If you aren't sure about a song, ask. A great resource for year and chart information is Wikipedia.
- Please check the “DJ History” tab in the room to get a feel for what's being played. This also avoids playing songs that were played recently.
- Please keep most songs to less than 6 minutes. An occasional longer song is OK, but you should ask via chat if it's OK. It's also a common courtesy to play an extra short song before or after your long song, to help "even things out." Thanks for playing fair.
- Limited AFK (Away From Keyboard) DJ'ing is OK. We all get busy at work, or need to chase after a kid or run to the bathroom while spinning. We understand. Just be aware that our bot will remove you from DJing if you haven't chatted at all after a couple of hours.
- When you are DJing, you should also be Wooting each song played by others. There are plenty of ways to automatically woot each song, if it's too much effort to manually woot songs. If you don't want to hit Woot, or you feel like hitting Meh, then please remove yourself from the DJ Wait List first.
- No Rudeness or foul language. Be courteous to others in the room; this includes chat conversation and your display name.
